Paintings for Penguins

During the month of November the Henry Vilas Zoo will feature art, created by local artists and even some zoo animals, in and around the zoo. Guests will have the chance to vote for their favorite piece and the winning artist will receive a special behind the scenes tour. Some of the art will be for sale with 100% of the profits being donated to SANCCOB. SANCCOB is a conservation organization in South Africa that is dedicated to helping coastal seabirds. Additionally, we will be kicking off the month long event with an opening night gala. This gala is expected to take place on Friday, November 1st. Full details still to come. Guests will need to purchase tickets to the gala, again with proceeds going towards SANCCOB. The rest of the month admission to the art show will be free.
